This year’s event will be captained by Sam Paraschos.  We are excited about seeing

patriotically decorated boats and pontoons again this year, accompanied by the patriotic

music offered by some of the participants.  We are asking that people refrain from

throwing water balloons or water spraying during this celebration to eliminate injuries

on the water.  Our parade captain,  Sam, will commence the parade beginning at the #1 Island
(Spider Lake Retreat area) at 7:00 PM.  We are asking all participants to remain in

single file as Sam leads us around our beautiful lake.  Should we have a contest for

best decorated boat this year?  Please contact the Water Safety Committee with your input

@ 947-5580.  Special thanks to Sam Paraschos for his involvement in the boat parade

and the golf scramble.  He has been very instrumental in these activties for

several years.  Kudos to Sam!
