Annual Meeting
Our 2026 annual member meeting will be an important event to attend for our members. During this meet, we will be voting on a revised set of bylaws that streamlines our organization and gives us flexibility to continue our mission and vision.
Please join us for the Spider Lake Property Owners Association Annual Meeting on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at East Bay Township Hall.
This year’s meeting is especially important. Members will be asked to vote on the revised SLPOA bylaws, which help define how our Association operates, how decisions are made, and how we continue working together to protect Spider Lake for current and future generations.
Spider Lake is more than a beautiful place to live, gather, boat, fish, paddle, and enjoy nature. It is a shared resource and a fragile ecosystem that depends on informed stewardship, active participation, and strong community support. SLPOA’s work—protecting water quality, supporting natural shorelands, monitoring invasive species, promoting safe recreation, and building community—depends on clear governance and engaged members.
At the Annual Meeting, we will:
Review key SLPOA activities and priorities
Discuss the revised bylaws and why they matter
Hold an important member vote on adoption of the revised bylaws
Provide an opportunity for member questions and discussion
Continue building momentum around protecting Spider Lake’s water quality, natural shorelands, wildlife, and recreational enjoyment
Special Guest Speaker: Larry Mudd, President of Protect Forest Lakes
Our meeting is open for any property owners adjacent to Spider Lake and members can vote as long as they have paid their dues. We encourage you to attend, learn, ask questions, and participate.
Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026
When: 10 AM to 12 PM. Doors open at 9:30 AM
Location: East Bay Township Hall
Purpose: SLPOA Annual Meeting and member vote on revised bylaws
Together, we can keep Spider Lake healthy, natural, and enjoyable for generations to come.
