2024 Phosphorus Test Results
Fall numbers for phosphorus were less than 5 ppb in the main part of the lake and somewhat higher at 6 to 7 ppb in Lighthouse Cove, Turtle Cove, and Celery Bay. Membership concerns in the past had focused on the growth of plants, tussocks, and algae in Celery Bay. The testing was performed as a data point to determine if the water conditions in Celery Bay were substantially different than in other parts of the lake.
In 2025, total phosphorus testing in spring and fall will be performed for Deep Bay, Celery Bay, Turtle Cove, and Lighthouse Cove.
